Klaus Freytag - biography

born May 15,1951	in Gräfenthal/ Germany
	1968-72	Apprenticeship as a porcelain modeller at the State Porcelain Manufactory in Meissen
	1972-77	Studied at the HfBK in Dresden
	1977-80	works as a freelance sculptor in Dresden
	since 1977	Regular exhibitions at home and abroad
	most important exhibition locations	were, among others, Mito (Japan), Schönebeck (D), Dresden Art Exhibition, Akiyoshi (Japan), Berlin
	1980	Moves to Grebs in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, continues to work as a freelance sculptor
	since 1980	Member of the artists' association
	from 1990	Worked as an art lecturer in various educational institutions, e.g. Academy Schwerin - castle Severin, ZEBEF e.V. Ludwigslust and "Kunstverein Wiligrad"
	from 1991	regular study visits to Japan
